| The Laboratory of Biostatistics
of the University of Athens, in cooperation with the Hellenic
Cardiology Foundation, organised a workshop on "Evidence
Based Medicine" on December 6-7, 2003. The workshop's
main speaker was Professor Stephen Lagakos, Chair of the
Department of Biostatistics, School of Public Health, Harvard
University. The workshop was organised with the auspices of
the 5th Panhellenic Conference of Nursing students and the
International Symposium of Arteriosclerosis. The workshop's
